NCI Publications has made it a point to provide excellent cello ensembles that are suitable for student groups. The Battle March by Kevin Berdine is the latest in that effort. Parts 1 and 2 shift — but only into 4th position. Parts 3 and 4 are all in closed first position. The piece sounds great! Be sure to get this for your not-so-advanced cello groups.
