COVID POLICY
National Cello Institute is committed to providing a safe and healthy institute for all participants. To that end, we are requiring full proof of vaccination (bring your card!), and will be following any/all mask mandates handed down by the state of California, by Pomona College, or by the faculty of our institute. Vaccinated students above the age of 5 will be accepted. If you have not yet been vaccinated PLEASE make plans to have it fully done by the institute date, or you will be asked to NOT participate and will NOT be given a refund.
COVID TESTING
All faculty, staff, participants, enrollees, parents/guardians/chaperones, and those who use room & board, are required to show TWO COVID TESTS for the NCI. The first is REQUIRED for your initial check-in, and you must take this test yourself (an antigen test from within 48 hours prior to start of the institute–bring your test results!). The second test will be provided by the NCI, and will be given mid-week during our annual Wednesday downtime. Tests in both cases should be submitted to the NCI main office. Any positive test result will require further action; the NCI health and safety plan may be viewed by anyone who wishes.
PLEASE NOTE:
The National Cello Institute is not like typical “Day Camps” in two important ways. First we do not have camp counsellors to lead the children from place to place so they must be able to find their own way around the campus. Second we do not fill every hour with activities so the students must be able to fill their off hours productively. For these reasons all young children who attend the NCI are usually accompanied by a parent or other adult.

- Please make sure all required fields are entered. Incomplete forms cannot be processed.
- WE DO NOT ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS BY MAIL. You must submit this registration form online.
- Please submit a separate form for each student registering.
- To pay by credit card, complete and submit the registration form below and click REGISTER NOW.
- Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of tuitions and fees.
- Refunds will be possible after June 1 if your place can be filled by a student on the waiting list.
- Expect a response via email. Please give us a valid email address that you look at regularly. Do not accidentally delete our response as Spam – the subject line will read “NCI Registration Confirmation”. Allow one week for your registration to be processed. If you do not hear from us by then, please contact us immediately.
